Nubian Museum, Aswan

Posted 1 year ago by avatar ersebet in response to avatar jason's question: Hello....I'm visiting Egypt this summer and I want to find something interesting to see in Aswan, that'll be my 'home' for about a week. (give a different answer) .

If you get there then you'd surely like to visit Nubian Museum. This place uncovers the tormented history of the Nubians that had to leave their homes because of the construction of the High Dam and Aswan Dam. Oh, there's an amazing sculpture of a 25th-dynasty Kushite Amun priest, jewelleries, photos, and ancient pottery. The admission is around $3 or $3.5, and if you want to take photo they charge extra $1.
