You're not reasonable asking for bargains when you're talking about Nile cruises :) Can try one of the four Sun Boats, sailed by Abercrombie & Kent, but they are pretty ritzy, open-topped and very spacious. Cruises last 5 to 8 days, usually part of longer stay packages of 11 days for 2,900 $ per person to two weeks at skyrocketing 7,290$ (accommodation in royal suite). The cruise will take you through valleys with tomb ruins, ancient ruins, with children in pajamas and men waist-deep in water, washing their oxen, waving at you.
