There are plenty of Sheratons, Marriots, Hyatts etc and many of them are quite nice, but if you want something really special go to Windsor Hotel on Sharia Alfy. The rooms are not that expensive ($30 - $50) and the atmosphere is great. It's an old building where there once was the Egyptian Royals' baths and also a British Officer's Club.
