The Gayer-Anderson museum in Cairo

Posted 1 year ago by avatar general in response to avatar blackjack's question: I am a big fan of old architecture. Can I find such buildings in cairo? (give a different answer) .

In the Islamic region of Cairo, near Ibn Tulun, there is the famous Gayer-Anderson Museum, a 16th century house restored by a British major during the 20th century. The rooms are nicely decorated and full of artefacts. If you love history, this is definitely the place to go to. Entranc is only 2,6$
