There's a miriad of Internet Cafes around, most of them on quite slow connections but charging less than a dollar per hour. You can ask at your hotel, too - many have their own computers that you can use (unfortunatelly mine didn't).
I recommend Interclub Internet Cafe, (12, Sahia Tallat Harb) - the best I found after "browsing" around for a week :)
