listo's question: What are the main touristic sights in Luxor?(give a different answer) .
On the east bank of the Nile there are the Temples of Karnak, a comple of sanctuaries, obelisks and statues that date back to 1500 years. The Hippostyle Hall is is a forest of huge stone pillars. Admission to the temples is 3,5$(with some extra 5 $ for filming). Visiting hours: 6 am to 6 30 pm.
