I had the same problem last summer. First I asked about buses but apparently that's not the best solution. There is a high-speed ferry daily (except Fridays) at 6PM that will take you to Hurgada in less than 2 hours. I paid $27 for the ticket - you can get it at almost any hotel/travel agent. I suggest you to book a hotel in Hurgada for the night and spend the next day there.
