You should try Fox Camp, that's about 3km from the St Katherine's Monastery. The rooms are simple, clean, you have hot water constantly, and a clean shared bathroom. The prices go from $1.5 to $3, depending on your choice (room & breakfast). You can use their phone number, 470 344.
