There is a bakery about 3km from St Katherine's, and a couple of supermarkets as well. In the back of the bakery you can find an arcade of small restaurants, like Kafeteria Ikhlas, the most reasonable in the area. Around the bus station there are several kiosks and Katrien Rest House serving good lunches($1.5 per meal). That's the cheapest area for food and drink.
